Launched in 2005, !Exclamachine explores what is possible not only in type design, but what a foundry can become in the twenty-first century. Along with developing original letterform designs and in-house font development, !Exclamachine joins with partners to bring new type-related products to the decor, crafts and entertainment industry. Simultaneously, !Exclamachine Type Foundry promotes type culture, seeks to advance the state of text as art in visual communication, supports global literacy charities, and sponsors font development resources.
